Raccoons

We can no longer admit baby raccoons

Recent changes in our network of Raccoon Rehabilitators have left us with a tough decision to make. Effective immediately, Carolina Wildlife Center (CWC) will no longer be accepting baby raccoons as patients. CWC is unable to rehabilitate baby raccoons at our current facility due to our limited space and an insufficient number of vaccinated staff members.

While this decision is exceedingly difficult, we are heartened by the fact that there are other wildlife rehabilitators in the state that can care for raccoons.

We take the care of our patients very seriously and appreciate your understanding as we make this transition.
If you have found a baby raccoon that may need help, please click one of the links below for assistance.

Please note: Carolina Wildlife Center does not endorse or recommend other wildlife rehabilitation organizations or individual rehabilitators for rescue advice or rehabilitation service as we do not formally vet other wildlife rehabilitation providers.
